At the Hotel La Renaissance, you are ideally located in the heart of Baccarat opposite the famous crystal shops. Village among the most floral of France, Baccarat has retained some traces of its medieval past with the 30 meter high towers of the Voués. A visit to the unusual Saint-Remy church is essential. Built in the 20th century, wood and concrete inlaid with 20,000 pieces of crystal which constitute its magnificent crystal stained glass Baccarat windows.

Crystal museum
Church of saint rémy baccarat
Constructed from 1953 on the site of the old church destroyed by an allied raid in 1944. It is the work of the architect Nicolas Kazis. It refers to the equilateral triangle symbol of the Holy Trinity. The roof timbers are of pine from the Vosges, the stained glass is Baccarat crystal.

Museum of the sources of hercules
In Deneuvre, the neighboring village, you can discover the remains of a Roman sanctuary from the IVth centuryBC dedicated to the cult of Hercules. More than 70 statues are exhibited.
